Highway Operation
We build road infrastructure on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis and then apply proven highway operational practices and ISO 9001:2008 certified procedures to maximise returns on these assets. Besides ensuring value for stakeholders, we have the opportunity to turn highways into safe, swift and satisfying routes for millions of highway users, year after year.
Maintenance
Continuous operations with zero downtime – this is our target, and it is made possible with proactive measures aimed at ensuring safety and comfort of our highway users. Class-leading maintenance practices include preventive, routine and ad-hoc maintenance initiatives as well as periodic inspections of all mechanical, structural and environmental elements.
Optimisation
Millions of road users on our highways present a useful opportunity to the broader business community. Through our Business Development Division, we market and manage well over 100 advertising panels set along strategic locations throughout our major intra-urban highways. When fully optimised, these assets contribute significantly to the financial health of the Group.
Rehabilitation
A pleasant journey is possible only when uncompromising standards are applied to maintenance of road surfaces, structures, facilities and conveniences. A journey on our highways should be more than just a commute; it should be an experience that you can enjoy and access on a daily basis. As such, our stringent rehabilitation programmes are carried out regularly and include pavement restoration, gantry and signage cleaning, repainting and replacements.
Upgrade
Technology enhances efficiency. The toll system, variable-message sign (VMS), vehicle detection system (VDS) and close-circuit television (CCTV) are among the newest features installed and in operation. Rest assured, more innovations are in place as we continue to set new benchmarks for the safety and convenience of our highway users.
