Dato’ Idris Bin Kechot, a Malaysian, was appointed as the Chairman of PROLINTAS Group of Companies on 30 November 2020. 

Dato’ Idris was formerly the Deputy President and Group Chief Operating Officer of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) before retiring on 31 December 2018. Prior to that, he was the designated investment manager for the unit trust funds and Executive Director of ASNB. He has more than 30 years of experience in equity evaluation, equity trading and portfolio management of the proprietary and unit trust portfolios. He began his career as a research analyst with PNB in 1983 undertaking industry and sectorial research and has carved an illustrious career with PNB.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kumpulan FIMA Berhad.

Dato’ Idris holds a Bachelor of Science (Agribusiness), Universiti Pertanian Malaysia and a Master of Business Administration majoring in Finance, University of Stirling, United Kingdom.

Dato’ Ikmal Hijaz bin Hashim, a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board of Directors of PROLINTAS Group of Companies on 19 May 2017. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He is also a member of the Project Monitoring Committee and Tender Committee.

He began his career in the Administrative and Diplomatic Service of the Government from 1976 to 1990. He then joined United Engineers (Malaysia) Berhad as the General Manager of the Malaysian-Singapore Second Crossing Project. On 1 January 1993, he was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan Berhad and subsequently as its Managing Director from January 1995 to June 1999 and remained as a Director until November 2001. He was then appointed as the Managing Director of Prolink Development Sdn Bhd in July 1999.

In February 2000, he was appointed President of the Property Division of the Renong Group while maintaining his position as Managing Director of Prolink Development Sdn Bhd He held the position of Managing Director of Renong Berhad from 2002 until October 2003. From 2003 to 2007, he was appointed as the CEO of Pos Malaysia Berhad as well as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia & Services Holdings Berhad. He then moved on to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) from February 2007 until end of February 2009. He then became the Chairman of Faber Group Berhad from 1 March 2009 until June 2014. During the said period he was also appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of UEM Land Berhad.

His directorships in other companies include Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad and Risda Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Dato’ Ikmal Hijaz holds a Master of Philosophy (Land Management) from University of Reading, United Kingdom and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from University of Malaya.

Encik Mohd Irwan bin Ahmad Mustafa, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of PROLINTAS Group of Companies since 5 October 2017. He is the Chairman of Tender Committee, a member of Project Monitoring Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

He is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) effective 1 January 2024. Previously he was PNB’s Group Head of Private Markets and was responsible for PNB’s investments in Private Equity and Infrastructure since July 2017.

Prior to joining PNB, he was with Ekuiti Nasional Berhad as a Director of Investment from December 2011 to May 2017. He also served as Vice President, Business Development at Integrax Berhad and Halim Rasip Holdings Sdn Bhd from December 2009 to November 2011. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Assurance services in March 2004 and was later moved to Advisory services in Corporate Finance in March 2006 till November 2009.

His directorships in other public companies include Maybank Asset Management Group Berhad and Sime Darby Plantation Berhad.

Encik Mohd Irwan is a Chartered Accountant and a member of Chartered Accountant of Australia and New Zealand since 2006. He holds a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the Australian National University.

Datin Suryani Binti Tun Ahmad Sarji, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of PROLINTAS Group of Companies on 30 November 2020. She is also a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee and Project Monitoring Committee.

Datin Suryani was appointed as a Director of Unilever (Malaysia) Holdings Sdn Bhd in September 2018 until April 2020. Currently, she is also a Director of Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd and Titian Pesaka Sdn Bhd.

She has retail experience having served Chopard Malaysia, a luxury Swiss international brand heading their flagship boutique with an added role as the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) expert. Prior to that, she was a retail business partner to Caltex Malaysia.

Earlier in her career, Datin Suryani worked as an Investment Analyst with Seacorp Schroders Capital Management specialising in the motor and consumer sectors. She started her career with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd in the Finance Department and was a member of the PSC tender committee.

Datin Suryani obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Hons) from the University of Hull, United Kingdom.

Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan Bin Md Taha, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of PROLINTAS Group of Companies on 30 November 2020. He is the Chairman of the Project Monitoring Committee.

Upon graduation in 1982, Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan worked with the Public Works Department (JKR) Malaysia, held several positions in the states and Headquarters until his retirement in 2019 as the Director-General (DG). He also served as Board Member of various bodies and Government Linked Companies including the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Pembinaan BLT Sdn Bhd, Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd He is a registered Professional Engineer & Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) and member of the Disciplinary Committee with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), an Honorary Member with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), an Honorary Fellow with the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE).

During his tenureship as the DG of JKR, he was also the President of BEM, the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM), Malaysian Structural Steel Association (MSSA), Vice President of Road Engineering Association of Asia & Australasia (REAAA), First Delegate for Malaysia to World Road Association (PIARC), Chairman of Malaysian National Monitoring Committee to the International Engineering Alliance (IEA) and Chairman of the Network of Accreditation Bodies for Engineering Education in Asia (NABEEA).

Under his leadership, he successfully completed the Building Sector Energy Efficiency Projects (BSEEP) entrusted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Government of Malaysia from 2014 till 2016. He also introduced the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) comprising Quality ISO 9001, Environment ISO 14001, Safety & Health ISO 18001 and Energy Management System ISO 50001. He managed to achieve the government’s recognition for Hari Profesion Teknikal Negara (HPTN) in 2018, dedicating the first Saturday in December every year to recognising the technical professions and its contributions to the country. He also outstandingly obtained the IEA recognition of our Engineering Technicians and Technologists education accreditation program under the Dublin and Sydney Accords respectively in 2018.

Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan has and continues to impart his views and expertise in the areas of infrastructure, project & construction management, asset management, technical & financial negotiations and environmental management in various government institutions and private sectors, among others, as an External Member of Development Committee of IJN Holdings Sdn Bhd, an External Member of Operation & Maintenance Committee and Project Steering Committee of Bank Negara Malaysia. He is presently on the Boards of TRX City Sdn Bhd and Minconsult Sdn Bhd.

Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Roslan holds a BSc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, and MSc. (Eng) in Civil Environmental Engineering from University of Liverpool, UK. He obtained his doctorate in Environment from University of Wales, UK.

Datin Shelina Binti Razaly Wahi, a Malaysian, aged 49, was appointed as a Director of PROLINTAS Group of Companies on 17 May 2022. She is also a member of the Audit Committee and Tender Committee.

Datin Shelina is a lawyer with experience from numerous industries, such as oil and gas, media, content and consumer service providers, start-up airlines and food and beverage start up. In Oil and Gas, Datin Shelina served various roles as a focal point for all Human Resources related matters in Shell Malaysia, including setting up the in-house Litigation Management Program. At Air Asia X, she served as a Legal Director who worked across all spheres of aviation, focusing on Aircraft and Engine Acquisitions, including leasing and financing, Aviation or Airlines human Resources, Operations and Engineering contracting matters.

At present, Datin Shelina is the founding Secretary of the Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association, as well as the Business Aviation Association, and assists members companies in their dealings with Government agencies, banks and other industry shareholders.

Datin Shelina currently sits on the boards of Lam Soon (M) Berhad, an unlisted public company, as well as Marine and General Berhad, Pekat Group Berhad and Alcom Group Berhad.

Datin Shelina holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Bristol, England. She completed her Barrister-at-Law at Lincoln’s Inn and Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law School, London.

Rose Anita binti Jalil, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd on 20 July 2023. She is also a member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and Tender Committee.

Puan Rose Anita is currently the Head, Fund Management at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), where she leads the management of the investment portfolios of the unit trust funds under PNB’s management. Over the course of a nearly 20-year career with PNB, since starting her career as an investment analyst in 2004, she has amassed a wealth experience across investment analysis and portfolio management, managing globally diversified multi-asset portfolios spanning equities, fixed income as well as alternative investments.

Puan Rose Anita holds a Master of Engineering (Hons) Electrical & Electronics with Management from Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, United Kingdom and has also completed the Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and holds a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License from the Securities Commission Malaysia.
